lighthunter 81 Posted November 16, 2011 Report Share Posted November 16, 2011 hi lads/lasses,just wanna say a massive thankyou to davey't63.my life long friend came over to mine today'just after an operation on his hand.and talked me through a full service on my baby'never been one for [nuts and bolts]and taking things apart,but with his expert no how he gave me the time and confidence to start taking the s410 apart.bit by bit,bolt by bolt the mighty air arms was in bits.must admit i was a little stressed to see her in many pieces,but after some some calming talk from the [master]we began'and boy she needed a good service.davey talked me through every stage of the guns internal workings,lads it is so simple when you see it,after we replaced [all] the 8 seals,pollished god knows how many parts'we put her back together.and wow,ime made up.feels like ive got a brand new air arms.davey really no's his stuff,he camd it for utube;so hopefully you can watch it in full.once again top man,top friend.regards chaz. If you polished the hammer and rail, im sure if you were to put it over a chrono it would be super consistant! The S4#0 range really benefits from a good strip down, de-gunge and polish.
