It`s a feckin scam by vets, they insist on prescrition only ,,then charge a fortune for it,, robbing cnuts

 

The VMD classifies Frontline Spray as a POM-V medicine, so it's not the vets that insist on prescription, it's the UK governing body for animal medicines that insist it....Vets are following the rules set for them.

no need for frontline allready stated beaphor do a far better product ivomec one spot for small animals birds etc ferrits ,keeps mange away ear mites the lot inside and out o.8 percent atb bunnys ,also can be bought online no prescription .

Beaphar anti parasite spot on 4.50 from the pet shop kills and prevents everything and is formulated for ferrets even does ear mites and mainge ,

 

It says to way your ferret, first time I stuck the ferret in question in an old pillow case then while the girlfriend was out popped it on the kitchen scales lol , it worked out two pipets for a Jill and 3 for a smallish hob 4 for a monster , but if in doubt way your ferret , as said cleared up ear mites in two days ear mites if left untreated will be costly at the vets , this stuff cleared them up no probs ; )

I had that beaphar stuff.

It did not deal with fleas like it said within days they were back. A few other people said the same thing. The frontline spray worked well. 2squirts for a month will work out cheaper in the long run two. I got it online took awhile to find it without prescription but it was there.

If anyone needs the link let me know and I'll dig it out.

ONE NEEDS TO ADMINISTER THE RIGHT DOSAGE THEN REPEAT 14DAYS LATER THE IVOMEC BY BEAFAR LASTS UP TO 3MTHS FRONTLINE NEEDS TO BE ADMINISTERED TO OFTEN TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF FLEAS THAT ALSO PASS ON THE WORMS ,IVOMEC HIS NOW USED TO TREAT AALSORTS OF SMALL ANIMALS AND THE RIGHT AMOUNTS ARE MADE UP BY THE DRUG COMPANIES WORMY MANGY RIDDEN FERRITS BECOME PICTURES WITH BEAUTIFUL LUSTRE COATS IN NO TIME AT ALL WITH THIS DRUG .and this drug does the worms except tape but also all the botts and bugs that can and do infest the ferrits ,atb bunnys.

Is that the anti parasite one stated earlier?

Frontline breaks the cycle of fleas as it is absorbed in to the skin and blood stream.

But as you rightly said the other deals with ear mites.

Just didn't Help with fleas. And I did the correct dosage.

My frontline was £15 and two spays a month will last longer.

Any one else had luck with beafar?
