Food mincer

This one does soft bones and meat: it does chicken carcases OK, but you need to smash rabbit bones up a bit with an axe or hammer to get them through. I don't think it would stand up to years of hard work on bones though. I only use mine for veg nowadays as I found an old Hobart, ancient as hell, but does everything brilliantly.

Only the really heavy duty butchers' ones will cope with bones etc long term.

takes up less space in the freezer when your doing 50-60 rabbits and couple of carcasses. Also less complaints from the misses when she is feeding mince...

Dont get me wrong...........Dogs get bones when I'm home...... Just ma misses doesnae like the food to look like fluffykins or bambi...

why do you need to mince bones??

my dog has teeth :D

Same here we put 100's of kilos of chicken threw it it fills the freezers with mince and no cold air which you would get trying to put the carcasses into the freezers
