Oildriller 2
Hi Mate, a good few years ago my Golden Cocker ate some Slug Pellets on the day I was going over seas...the vets bill was out of this world but the dog was OK. I had the pellets covered up with slate but the dog still sniffed them out.....if you have dogs never use Slug Pellets in your garden. Quote Link to post
paulus 26
lethal stuff slug pellets mate, antifreeze is another one, as is rat poison, just have to be extra carefull and read the label before using anything where your dogs are going to be. hope the dogs pull through. jocky 198
should not be using slug pellets, they kill so many thrushes and black birds, i was doing some gardening for some one once, he had slug pellets all over the garden, i found 3 song thrushes and a black bird dead in his garden. they should be band. one of my patterdals was ill about 6 month ago, could not keep her balence kept falling to one side. tuck her to vet did not no what it was, gave her antibiotics, she was ok next day... but i think that may have been slug pellets from next door, as seen her eating a slug on the night before...
