lurcher dean 39 Posted November 15, 2011 Report Share Posted November 15, 2011 (edited) evening all ,after a couple of years out due to work/family comitments that coincided with me losing my last lurcher to illness i have now put my deposit on a new pup ready to collect on the 23rd of dec white(i know but i like white ones)rough coated deer/grey/collie x deer/grey/bed cant wait dam is 23 sire is 22 ,and i cant wait her name will be gracie (after my late gran as the pup was born on what would of been her birthday more pics will go up as i get them , now onto building her kennel and run ,quick question she will be kenneled i have a stone hot water bottle to wrap in a towel for her to snuggle to i was looking on flee bay for a heat lamp and they sell one for about £20 175 watt do you guys think that would be sufficient the kennel will be well constucted with 22mm shiplap on the outside osb board lined on the inside with insulation between be about 6 x 4 + the run ,what do you guys think? :boogy: :boogy: :boogy: :boogy: Edited November 15, 2011 by lurcher dean Quote Link to post

scottish carper ingram 40 Posted November 15, 2011 Report Share Posted November 15, 2011 just a suggestion mate but in the shed why dont you section part of to make the sleeping box smaller, the dog wont need that much room, and if smaller will heat up quicker and hold heat better, will also give you storage space for food etc, atb with the new pup ingram 1 Quote Link to post

I don't know much about kennels but there something I'm looking into for the future.
