jwed 16
Hi lads, just wondering, do many people go out shooting without a dog? (excluding clays lol).
lanber 3
There will be hundreds mate.. You dont have to have a dog to do a bit of rough shooting.. Get out there and walk the hedge rows and enjoy..
Born Hunter 17,763
I think it's fair to say you can shoot years without a dog but once you have one you really miss it on a mornings shooting. They really do make a difference. That said, I've spent a fair few years shooting without and still managed to put a bit of something in the bag with a gun in the crook of my arm and a stick tapping at the hedge. Lab 10,979
Of course folk will say a dog is not needed but without one you will loose alot of what you've fired at. I'd never think of going shooting without a dog I think it's a lack of respect really. More so if your using a shotgun.
