Huge respect for them people they lay their lives down for this country and only now getting the recognition they deserve from the gov. Shame the c**ts that are over that get everything and still hate out country and people don't take leaf out of there book and realize we done them a favour by letting them live here the way theydo

I read that this morning. They have my full support and respect. Having a couple of gurkhas guarding ya business would certainly deter scallys better than half the idiots with SIA badges these days. I wonder if they carry their Kukri with them while on duty? lol

Nobody in their right mind would begrudge the ghurkas and their familys perminent residence in this country its all the young iraqis and afganies that should be sent back to their own countrys to help rebuild it.

no chanse their too f-cking idle, they want dole and free housing

TBH i would sooner have them all feked off back to their own countrys but saying that i would sooner have them on the dole instead of them being in the work place takeing the jobs off people who were born here.

Ayo gorkhali :victory: I have met quite a few over the years, mostly good but one or two bad apples as in any barrel, one thing few people realise or overlook is they are a mercenary group, fighting for a foreign power for cash,Nepal is poverty stricken, dirt poor,so over the years its become an honour and a way of providing a good income for young nepalese to join the gurkhas, they originally fought against the british east india company army, impressed us so we hired them as mercs.
