moocherboi 8 Posted November 14, 2011 Report Share Posted November 14, 2011 Right im having a bit of trouble with my lurcher working with the long nets. he has been taught to jump the net since a puppy and he is now 3. Now i have not done alot of ferreting with him but he jus runs straight into the net when a rabbit hits the net, now this i can understand as he wants to catch it, but it will run into any net that is in the way before he hits the net that the rabbit is in, he seems to just have no respect for it. Im thinking that i need to put him back on the lead again and slowly take him over to each rabbit that hits the net and get him to sit whilst i dispatch the rabbit and get another helping pair of hands to grab other rabbits. Would anyone else have another other tips or advise. Thank you Quote Link to post
