gerfalcon 13
You have as much chance of the Hunting Act 2004 being repealed or amended as there is of there ever being a frosty morning in hell. This government has far bigger issues on its hands, and no subsequent government is ever going to devote the amount of debate time necessary to such an unimportant political issue. Don't forget there are plans already on the political calendar to replace the existing Wildlife and Countryside, Conservation Act as well as the Wild Mammals Protection Act along with several other interrelated pieces of legislation. They will effectively address the existing loop holes, tighten the restictions already in place and increase the chances of successful prosecutions of those that break the new laws as well as the existing Hunting Act 2004. It going to be a case of if they don't get you one way they will get you by another. So as was posted earlier be careful of what you wish for. My suggestion is make the most of it whilst you can. hope u guys just dont sit there and take it.. u can make a small issue a very big issue ever heard the saying, the squeaking wheel gets the most oil Thats been tried. It was tried for 5 years before the implementation of the Hunting Act 2004. All that happened was the squeak was ignored and they simply tighten the wheel nuts. Quote Link to post

gerfalcon 13
Followed by a PETA funded hunt monitor with a video camera collecting evidence for the prosecution most like. Along with a handy torque wrench just to make sure those wheel nuts haven't worked loose. They might even bring along some tissues for you to dab away the beads of cold sweat.that will undoubtedly be breaking out on your furrowed forehead. You never know you might even get a job singing soprano in the local chapel choir. Edited November 23, 2011 by gerfalcon Quote Link to post

An other classic example from you of trying and failing to punch above your weight. . Some of us remember your first incarnation on this forum. Under another name of course. What was it now, I'm sure you can recall what it was? Do you still advocate the shooting of coursers dogs as a means of deterring them from poaching your ground? Like the good book says "When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways." Time to grow up son. Oh i've grown up sunshine dont you worry... And yes i did have another name a few years back before i moved house and forgot my password and set up another acount, however i have never been thrown off for being a c**t, like some eh..... and i have never used that old account cause i dont know the password.... Now i think you have brought this up before, cant remember what you were called then as you've had soooooo many names but i did ask you to show me what i wrote and in what context.......Thank you...... The thing is i was brought up and told that poaching off any kind was wrong and done by the "wrong kind of people".......but as the years go on and i quote " When I became a man, I gave up childish ways." i decided to look at other points of view......unlike some others... But please point out what i said and i'll be happy to look at it..... Quote Link to post
