whin 463 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Share Posted November 22, 2011 met several people in new mexico in communes and just plain old hicks , doing self sufficincy , they barter for stuff to by stuff ,cut there own wood grow veg a few stock etc a bit fishing they grow all sorts as the climate suits ,the old crofters up in north of scotland were pretty self sufficient ,probaly the only type realy of uk people as its was tough back then,climate is tough to , i would say if your cleve ryou can utilise your skills and knowedge to save money but you need to know abit Quote Link to post Share on other sites
