My dad went out with a Swedish nurse for years after he split up with my mum, and he always went on about going over there with her for some hunting and ice fishing. It never happened and they're split up now. forest of dean redneck 11,534 Posted November 14, 2011 Report Share Posted November 14, 2011 looks nice place mate, who looking after your dogs for you while you been away.! are them Elk hounds in the pics what they like regards hunting + temp.!? yeah their elkhounds the heavy looking ones are norwegian and the swedish are lighter in build and colour normally. the norwegian can look at you an make a funny growling noise but its only talking to you really but can be off putting if you dont know.very primitive type dog, that hasnt been ruined. they hunt by tracking moose either free ranging or on leash and then standing in front and barking its head off distracting it so hunter can shoot will do same to grouse/pheasant birds standing under tree they are in. think they use them on badgers as well Quote Link to post Share on other sites
