5/8s 3/8s greyhound collie pics

Mine is only used for ferreting due to her age but in her younger days was a useful dog on most stuff.Though imo the collie x of al percentages can make excellent rabbiting dogs.

My bitch as never been laid up with injuries and I run some testing ground........I'm a fan as they're can handle the ground I hunt.

how do people find 3/8ths collie 5th running dog?

The best collie crosses i have ever seen have been bred this way [bANNED TEXT] two collie lurchers have been bred together rather than [bANNED TEXT] one side of the breeding has been a pure greyhound.

a would imagine the 2 collie greys bred together produced more mongrelly types rather then the pure grey on one side an would imagine that type to be faster but maybe not as biddable but that type a saw from hancocks was good lamper an did seem fast but had weirdie beardie in its make up an it refused to retreive an took some getting back on lead but could it rack the numbers up in north yorkshire lol it had bottomless stamina an didnt do bad at knocking hare fox an roe an fallow an not to mention knocking young red over aswell was a pretty good dog part from the dislike of the slip lol lol

The best one i saw was [bANNED TEXT] a first cross collie greyhound was put back to a 3 quarter grey/collie and turned out a rangy bitch that had a look of saluki about her she was only bred once to a known local dog with beddy blood in him and produced some belters this was over 30 years ago though lol.

well ile have just started handling ferrets at this time yet my uncles an family were hunting round this time as its gone through the years but they rarely had a lurcher it was mainly ferrets terriers an pellet guns or a 4.10 off ticket lol...an the main quarry was rabbits in them days an owt to feed ferrets lol.. but would imagine theres still dogs in the area that still hold a touch of that blood your talking about mate... my first collie grey type was off some good stuff over twenty years ago they were 2 similar stuff to what your talking father was pip a three quarter bred an mother was fly not sure how she was bred but in the day they were top dogs knocking over good bags up north with kieth preist local scrap dealer he had some tidyish dogs at time an was well into his poaching but hes calmed down now an has lots of permish if he ever wants to go out.....

i used to run collie/greyhound/whippet/greyhounds when i first started lamping 17 years ago then lost my way and ended up with a couple BULL CROSSES. last year i baught myself a half cross hancock border collie/greyhound, and a hancock 5/8 3/8 beerdie/greyhound both dogs are 15 months old jumping gates, fences retrieving rabitts and 15 fox's between them in the last 3 months, in my opinion collie/greyhounds are the best allround lurcher's you can buy

Your bitch gem is cracking in the day, she sets the bench Mark very high for collie x's . She's a real pleasure to watch work, and a great role model for your pup
