If they had known it was your patch and they asked you would they have got it? Not underhand as they have been more than visable about what they are up to.It does strike me as possibly being a bit more to things that what they are suggesting. jayjay 264
Just seems that all the time here we have people with guns coming from other areas trying to get all of the permission, offering money for the most part. There is not even that much game / vermin about here. And it's f*****g annoying when it's YOUR home. if there aint that much game around in the area where they are touting, dont be to worried about them......,because surely they wont hang around your area to long if the stuff aint there, there aint many farms or permissions you go on today where there are'nt a few people already going on there anyway....... jay. FightTheBan 1,147
Thats sad. The reason this sport is so great is you can enjoy it whatever your financial circumstances or background. From a terrier/lurcher gifted from a friend to going out lamping with a £5000 rifle setup Thank f**k money can't buy good dogs or it would be a whole different ball game, for that you need patience determination and a passion for your sport. Any c**t can give a farmer 100 notes and drive around plinking away. Better sitting at hom,e playing call of duty me thinks. FTB

old timer123 367
Lots of posters have started appearing in my area recently, from a group of guys wanting all the shooting rights. In return they offer a night-time patrol service with marked (police style) 4x4's and security patrol dogs. Promise to keep the undesirables off the land at night . . . . . WANKERS. I know the feeling makes it ten times worst [bANNED TEXT] its people you have poached with in the past who are no better than pit scabs imho. too fecking right turn coat slimey b*****ds is what they are pal

Ratreeper 441
if they don't do a good job with their security promise then they won't keep the permission long if they do get it. I don't know how many farmers would go for it, sounds a bit overkeen and dodgy to me but it will probably work with some. If they are sat in a marked car holding up their promise they won't be doing much hunting, so you can wave at them whilst you go lamping
