Ideation 8,216
Lots of posters have started appearing in my area recently, from a group of guys wanting all the shooting rights. In return they offer a night-time patrol service with marked (police style) 4x4's and security patrol dogs. Promise to keep the undesirables off the land at night . . . . . WANKERS.

Ideation 8,216
Just seems that all the time here we have people with guns coming from other areas trying to get all of the permission, offering money for the most part. There is not even that much game / vermin about here. And it's f*****g annoying when it's YOUR home.

Swampy 147
What have they done wrong? Sounds like they are playing the numbers game. For every 10 permissions if they get one they'd be happy. Sounds a bit enterprising....As long as they can back it up with a decent service..... I suspect that as soon as a permission has its diesel knicked from a lock up they'll be down the road pronto! Do you know the guys/girls? rgds Swampy capatalist ning

tegater 789
Ideation. If its like the scum security trade in Manchester, the next thing that will happen is that they will start arranging undesirable low lifes, coming on your permissions with guns or dogs, and then they will either turn up then and be the hero, or they will approach the landowners the day after, when the landowner is mighty pissed off with unknown people coming on his land. It's a ploy that might work, but hopefully not.
Giro 2,648
Its a shame but permission can be bought, With the way the country is, I can see why farmers ~ land owners would go down that road.. If anything its a reminder for people with permission to be on there toes, show face regulary, flarch and flannel people. If your not touching base and just lamping farmers forget you and can and have with me let others on.. Its shit for you ideation.. I'm going to try and be unprovocative here...emphasis on "try"! Sneaky?.......They're putting posters up ffs! How is that sneaky? I'm not necessarily agreeing with the methods but if the lads get a few permissions out of it waht the problem? If they were nicking yours and you're losing out then you might be justified in asking what the landowner what you have done wrong to lose your patch but It just strikes me as being enterprising.........or there is an ulterior motive behind waht they are doing! They wont get any land without seeing the owner So if they are legit then fair play they've done nowt wrong. I suspect that what their offering can't be backed up and then the'll be gone Rgds Swampy marketning
