Anyone local to abertillery fancy a lamp tonight, on the local mountains. Hard to catch with the terrain but good fun and test the dogs well, not the best with the moon but the rain and wind is sure here, can't have it perfect tho can ya lol if anyone fancies it drop me a pm and see if we can knock a few off.

We ain't got that many rabbits here as it is J.........start showing lads the little bits we've got and we won't have that then.

 

Get out on you're own you'll get more runs and won't have to worry about lads wiping the bunnies out.

i agree with you there johnny to many youngsters run the places we do have rabbits dry round the valleys, never used to go far for a few runs now your lucky to see any.

where i live we have gangs of kids that walk around with airguns only in the summer months and leave nothing to run in the winter, does my f****n nut in

Aberdare, llwydcoed if you know where that is, the land is not to bad its just theres not alot of game and its all lamp shy

Fair enough if you've only got one spot but I don't just go to one spot I have about 8 or 9 now some take bait of walking before it really hits off others take a few mins. Just get bored going local on my own as I go 3-5 times a week if I can not just once here or there, makes a nice change when get to stroll out with good company. I don't mind when go to England as I lamp with someone else regular but not local lol there's more rabbits in the vallies then people think you just gotta put the time and effort to find them. And jonny boy I wouldn't take them up to the place your thinking where we go. When I said local I meant local so more then likely if they do abit there more then likely know the places anyway.

theres plenty of bunnys up here and fox butt i dont see so many long ears, i go to west rather then over the bridge have been to swindon an that butt i didnt think it was worth the travel

i have some good spots but they are hard work but you do get some good results.. other places i go to the rabbits are very clued up and becomeing lamp shy because of the half wits who just shoot and go i find dead every were. then theres the spots you have to travel to the runs are good but the numbers are not what they were and i find this every were i go lately
