whippet pup eating sh*t

any suggestion my 4 month old whippet keeps eating my other dogs sh*t not nice to see a litte whippet munching on a turd.could it be a somthing to do with its food not giving it what it needs

some lines of whippet are prone to this from my experience, their is nothing you can do about it, unless you get lucky and the pup grows out of it unfortunately.

I had 2 pups last year, both of them started it. Was feeding a cheap dry food cant remember the type. Changed to a better quality dry food and boiled rabbit. Stopped after that, never been a problem since.

i had this problem with my whippet x pup, and my dad said his beddy whippets and terriers useto do it, its because of a lack in pottassium form the food, give it half a bannana a week for a couple of weeks, and a good wack if it try's again

ive had this problem with my pups eating horse shit but they usualy grow out of it they have never been interested in dog shit
