If I breed a litter , it,s my responsibility to home the pups , they stay with me till they are found good homes , however long that takes.

a topic that should never be talked about in an open forum,,,doesnt show anyone in a good light in dog world in 2day,s time,s     one thing ive learned over the years,,,,when litter,s born,,,,the r

I got banned from another site for mentioning "culling", but surely if people put more thought into breeding and bred less litters, and only from the best; there would be no need to cull ?   Cheers.

THE RESPONSIBLE breeders know all stock no matter how good will produce a good deal of moderate to average stock ,Yes in time the ratio of good stock will get higher if only the very best are bred on from . But this his the main problem we have today to much stock bred from moderat or even sub standard stock, time his premium in life and today there his all the knowledge there before us and easier access to quality bred stock . There his those who know and have the knowledge to breed good stock there are those who know how to get the best from the stock and occasionally we seethe gems who know how to breed and field there stock atb bunnys.

its the owners that want f****n culling not the pups they dont ask to be born.do you think your mothers would cull you when your born if she thought you wernt goin to make the grade at school or somethin

Agree with desert hunter.

If too weak to survive then they will die, no intervention needed surely?

why let them suffer a slow death?? what would you do if you had a pup born with its guts hanging out leave it to die or do the right thing their and then, never mind waiting for a vet to come 3 hours later!

An emotive issue, i have only ever been involved in one litter, all the pups were crackers and were reared and all made the grade for what they were bred for, culing may bv neccersary sometimes, what boils my piss is those who derive pleasure from it, almost as a badge of honour to prove how "real deal" they are and think it enhances their penis size..............
