i was asked to kill some rabbits that were living on a patch of rough land in a field across the road from my house ,normaly i like to snare these rabbits as its only a couple of minutes away ,and easy to check at first light, but the old boy wanted them gone so it was an outing for the ferrets,my lad and me put two nets around the set then stuck the three youngh jills in,rabbits were soon moving but not hitting the nets, my lad heard one squeal near his foot and a 6inch gave us number one,ten rabbits hit the nets and three more were dug, one rabbit then leapt out of a hole with a ferret stuck to its head ,it must have gone 4 foot in the air and landed on another ferret, we picked them up then 15 rabbits plus 4 that got away ,there were still rabbits in that set ,but we will have them another day also picked a couple of po
