As i mentioned previous i am a keyboard hunter now, i no longer have working terriers.

But lets be honest with each other, if someone stipulates a colour when looking for a stud, pup, whatever. It is surely a step backwards with regards to genuine working terriers.

Priority should be given to using the best stud available, buying in the best pups available. Dont get me wrong if these happen to be chocolate then great.

But i personally believe by stipulating a meaningless attribute like colour, you are narrowing down you chances of getting the best.

Of course each to there own, but ask yourselves the simple question, why bother about colour????

well to tell truth its actually a bronze an not really a chocolate an if the lad had wanted to see him work i would have had no problem with that an i didnt want to see his bitch work cause i wasnt having a pup i got enough on at minute an was answering the lads ad to help him out once he has the pups there out of my juristiction lol so to speak so what he does with them is his business not mine but the dogs a pretty decent worker an would more then likely produce a few workers even if his bitch didnt work

Get real FFS you wouldnt own a white lurcher even if it was the best dog on the planet. That is a wee bit of a stupid statement(in my opinion). Everyone has a preference for colour etc. but to rule out a dog purely on an issue like colour is equally as stupid as wanting to breed purely on colour.

Come on at least kid yourselves on you are trying to achieve the best.

Mind you perhaps its me thats got it all wrong, and colour is in fact the be all and end all. As i mentioned previously i am no longer in the sport.

its the guys preference at the end of the day, nothing do with no one else. As stated, he's the one that has to luck at it every day and walk it etc etc a dog is what you make it - of course, if people want a certain colour, i.e the ad states that he wanted something new colour wise what does that matter aslong as it does what you want it to do...some people will only have a certain dog for colour/pattern - like I said its just down to personal preference.
