bondy 0
Went to Sunny Beach August last year, weather great but if any rain everywhere floods. Beach lovely, plenty of water sports, good night life everything cheap (food and named clothing). Had a great time, ENJOY!
mistwalker 0
Well, call me a bit biased here as my wife's actually Bulgarian (from Nessebar, near Sunny Beach) and we've got a wee place there (200yds from the beach) so we usually get across a couple of times each year. Yes, it's a country which is still recovering from the ravages of communism (and the collapse of it - long story, but it left many Bulgarians even worse off than before) but, in my experience, the people are generally very friendly (although like any country, you get ar&eholes everywhere) the food is fantastic (no added crap, plenty of fresh meat, fish and vegetables) and there are some great clubs. As previously mentioned, loads for kids. The Mafia guys tend to keep themselves to themselves and generally don't get involved with foreigners but you can spot them a mile off (quite a few of the local boys train in the gym I use over there and they're actually quite friendly and don't mind training in with you or helping you out - just don't borrow a fiver and forget about it ) I even know a few guys who use terriers on foxes over there and one guy who courses Borzois - so they can't be that bad can they When are you going Nixy? We're across end of June, start of July. PM me if you want and I'll point you in a few of the right directions. Hope you enjoy your trip. Oh, and there's a couple of wee places down th beach fron that sell cheap Realtree gear

mad al 146
Nixy, had a brill holiday in Sunny Beach :thumbs-up: The weather was absolutely boiling, so look out in July . We went "all in" and to be honest if you just ate and drank at the hotel, you'd have a job to spend £20 . We stayed in a 3*** hotel and it was as good as any UK 5*****, food was 1st class and loads of it, lager was really nice and so were the spirits. Kids club for the little uns and nothing to do but eat, drink and catch some rays . We didn't think much of the resort as everyone is ready to jump on you to buy something as soon as you enter the shops, can't blame them really though, as it is a very poor country with hardly any good paid jobs for the local people. My advise would be to watch your money at all times. The other thing we didn't like was the couple dragging an old Brown Bear about on a chain , trying to get folk to have their picture taken with it, cruel barstewards . We'd go again without hesitation, but I think give the country about five years and it will be very popular and more expensive. Al
