Malt 379 Posted November 9, 2011 Report Share Posted November 9, 2011 I know a few people (pet owners) of livelier breeds (staffys, boxers) who have had their dogs castrated due to being led to believe that they must get it done to 'calm them down'. Sometimes it works but more often then not it doesn't... People are too quick to have them lopped off IMO. They're fed bullshit by anti dog owning organisations like the RSPCA who's aims are to limit the amount of dog breeding going on. I think they should be trying to advocate better stock management and training rather than trying to limit breeding in this way. If all else fails, then get the dog done as a last resort, not start with it and then work backwards with the training.. Quote Link to post
