dougall 98
thanks iceman. Ideation- it would also be a boring place if every dog was perfect, so ill look forward to taking some of the 'advice' on board, but i can see where iceman is coming from, its a pup at the end of the day son. Advice me arse, tell em to do one, you and ur dogs are doing what ye love to do, think you will find that most dogs have a wee fault somewhere along the line, some lurchers wont retrieve to hand, some wont come back on the recall, its all part of what we do and if you are happy with you dogs then fcuk to everyone else, by the way what way is the hairy one bred??? The lighter coloured one, meg, who is my dog is beddy/whippet/greyhound what age is the we dog thats the x i keep great we rabbit dogs atb Quote Link to post
rough dog 333
Some good comments on the vid... but I say if you put a clip of your dogs on THL and the dogs are showing obvious faults then surely you have to accept different opinions from different people. Call it criticism or advice it`s just different opinions. It looks to me that nobody is having a go at these lads but people with experience can see the problems with yapping dogs and dogs standing to close to the holes. In 30 years of working with dogs I have had only 1 yapper which I gave away as a pet, I think that they yap out of frustration and I imagine that every time they run you are waiting for the yapping to start !. If there is a cure I would like to hear it . I love my sport and I enjoy looking through THL but I am not into arguing so this is just my opinion for what it`s worth. Good hunting to everyone ... and good on you boys for the video !! Quote Link to post
