Irish Lurcher 1,013
Lads I think its common knowledge that yappers are a no no, why state the obvious, enjoy the vid for what it is, well done lads. Quote Link to post
bird 9,864
nice vid+plenty of action , but not keen with dogs right over the hole, It can stop a bolt . Ifind with bolters, keep the dog back from the hole it as a better view , and is right on the rabbit in seconds when they do bolt, and with 1 dog on 1 rabbit, they dont get in each others way to make there strike. PoCk0 40
I am afraid to say that on this occasion i am with whin. To much noise and that yapping coming from a lurcher needs to be addressed. If the dog is yapping because of frustration due to being young and unable to get terms with the rabbits then dont put it in that position until it can handle the situation. I only watched the first half and didnt see any bolters caught. LOL!! If you read the youtube description it clearly states that the rabbits were caught at the top of the hill. I would like to see any dog catch a rabbit going uphill time after time. The yipping isn't doing any harm and the dog needs to learn somehow.... Edited November 8, 2011 by PoCk0 1 Quote Link to post

jezza 126
thanks bird, we had to take two for the big warrens where the holes would be either side of a fence ect so we could have 1 on each side Quote Link to post

dougall 98
good vid mate but them rabbits made your dogs look daffed think the dogs r still young Quote Link to post
jezza 126
cheers mate, the young dark dog only does yap when shes running with other dogs, but with perseverance we will get there Quote Link to post
jezza 126
you think this because you cannot see the rabbits that have been caught, they catch most of them over the brow of the hill on the flat as you should know, little dogs arent the best uphill Quote Link to post
