Cheers lads. He's 3/8 saluki, 3/8 greyhound, 1/4 whippet. Lines go back to 'Charlie', pure saluki called 'Amazing Pharoah' (brother of Khan Jihad) and 'Sooty Sam'. He's 23"tts and working the lamp better each time he goes out. Really looking forward to testing him out proper after christmas!! :thumbs:

 

Did the pup come from Desert Star?

Don't think so mate. 'Amazing Pharoah' is the great grand-sire. Think he was put over a bitch called 'Magic' that was sired by 'Charlie'. Don't hold me to that like as I'm not sure if that's the right name of the bitch. I've been asking the bloke who owns my pup's grand-sire for a pedigree of his breeding but I've never got round to getting it off him.

 

amazing pharoah the brother to khan jihads kennel name is bill not charlie mate, ive got 2 dogs running out of his son at the minute :thumbs:

I know mate, khan jihad's brother was called Bill. I meant that my dog has both 'Bill' and 'Charlie' in its breeding, as well as 'Sooty Sam'. My dog's grandsire was bred out of 'Bill' and a bitch out of Charlie.

Canny pack you've got mate! The two out of Bill look just like the grandsire of mine except he is white and not fawn. Strong dogs :thumbs:

      I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
      Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.) 
      Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think? 
      She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect
