I was thinking about that little girl this morning but didnt want to say anything as coudnt remember the litte lasses dads name to mention it , but that is a good one as well and would be absolutly fine by me Are you thinking of Courtney ? The girl that we raised money for last year on Hardcore Hunting ? The dad's name was Charlie on there. No its Ella, Top Chalkers young daughter. So how about Lurcherbitches rescue and a charity named by Top Chalker...perhaps the unit Ellie is treated at, it is a cancer unit so related to LG's illness? MOLL. VERY WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED NOW SURELY IF WE CAN GET TOGETHER AND DO THIS, WHY CANT WE STAND UP FOR OUR CIVIL LIBERTIES AND GET THIS UNFAIR BAN OVERTURNED? Guest Top Chalker
Thanks for thinking off Ella, Ella is finally doing ok, she still isnt out of the woods and will be getting chemo untill April next year, the thing is Ella is on ward 16 of the RVI in Newcastle and to be honest the ward gets a lot of donations , its just had new tvs , playstations and other games , toys for the smaller kids like Ella , we are doin a fund raiser this weekend to get all the kids easter eggs and some DVDs etc etc ..... Lurcherbitch does a fantastic job of helping people out with rehoming lurchers , and its not cheap keeping dogs , phone calls etc etc and she doesnt get that much help , Cancer is a sickning , it turns your life upside down ,but im glad to say there are millions of people always collecting money for the Cancer charities, and not many for our loyal lurcher freinds... I think that any money raised on here , a hunting site , raised bye hunters in the memory of a lad who had dogs , should go to the LURCHER rescue , it just seems fitting All the best to every one , and thanks of thinking off my little girl .......... Guest Ditch_Shitter
Good to have ye fully functioning again, mate. I've been waiting for something to break so we could round this off. Ok. For my part; I've been told to expect further contact at a letter drop in town. It works because I've already recieved post there. I'll be back on Friday and I'm reckoning any post waiting for me then should be the last of it. I can't see anything taking longer to get here ~ laborious though the postal system can be. That done, I'll set about paying any cheques into my own Nat West account, back in uk. We can expect that to take another week. What with me getting them to a post box and the bank doing it's thing. I'll then PM any contributors to let them know their monies have been recieved and banked. Once that clears, I'll PayPal the covering ammount direct to your PP account, Ian. I'll label each nick and notifie ye of the ammount. I'd then ask you to PM the individuals concerned and inform them that The Fund has recieved their Donations safely, via me. Then? Well, I guess Then we either seek a decisive addition to the votes on here or else pull Charities out of a f*cking hat! Because so far it's plain to see that the majority vote, on here says a Lurcher Rescue and 'A' Cancer related one. For the record; All I've recieved in PM is 'Go with the flow' votes. I may know more on Friday night, when I actually open the postals. Till then; Anyone else who's donated and has a view? Please speak up here!
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Okie dokie I've been back to the address I used as a mail drop and now consider it cleared. I'll be back in town by the week end and shall send the money to my british bank account. Soon as that clears I'll Pay Pal it to Ian, who'll recieve it instantly of course. Then it's just down to him to notifie those concerned that he's recieved their Donations safely and we then hand the total over to Charity Thanks again, people We Stood Up!
