In that case at 16 i think it would have been a different story........think i might have said "Hit me once more and have a good night sleep tonight cause you wont be f*****g waking up in the morning!!!"... scothunter 12,609 Posted November 5, 2011 Report Share Posted November 5, 2011 im the same lab.i took worse hidings than that growing up.im not gonna say i deserved the severity of them,but my old man was old school very old fashioned when it came to kids.and i was a proper wee c**t as a teen. i remember the day i stood up to him.my maw was on the phone to my social worker at the time aswell lol looked him straight in the eye and told him that his days of hitting me was over.the look of utter anger in his face changed.think he realised i was deadly serious.never ever hit me again after that day.
