poacher3161 1,766
Never ever seen a solid liver springer can get access to one with more liver on than white. Quote Link to post
stroller 341
didnt think that a solid colour was part of the breed spec? i would imagine a sprocker might breed solid colours. The purests might be up in arms about breeding a springer with this trait but hey whatever floats your boat Quote Link to post
danw 1,748
hi all i am looking for a chocolate springer stud dog can travell thanks I'm sorry but it has to be said if folks paid more attention to the working ability of a stud and dam rather than their colour then the working breeds wouldnt' be so f****d up 2 Quote Link to post
askiro 1
Hi. as said there isn't any such thing as a chocolate springer, its liver and white or black and white. O.K education over, theres not that many well bred springers with a lot of colour on them these days, but Misselchalke Lad has plenty of liver on him and i would highly recommend him. Also Will Clulee has Larford Cannon which is % liver. look on net for contact numbers. Quote Link to post

slugger8770 0
There are the rarer 'Sussex spaniel' and the 'Field spaniel' that are a solid Brown colour, but I wouldn't know who or where to start getting hold of one. I haven't heard of anyone working them so I wouldn't know what they are like. Quote Link to post

spec 45
ain't no such thing!! if it's solid colour its more likely to be cocker, at least a sprocker. you can get heavily liver marked springers, yes, but why is colour a priority?!! ultimately springers AREN'T solid coloured. end of.
