martnmagik 68
excluding the likes of ferrari/lambo/porsche etc. what car would you have from the 80s or 90s if you could find and afford a minter? I've always fancied a Renault 5 GT turbo but never ended up getting one although I came close a couple of years ago, found a 1990 one with mint bodywork but mechanically it was bolloxed and underneath was rusted to shit, he wanted £800 for it but would have cost over £2k to get it sorted. saw one of these bad boys in Wrexham a couple of months ago aswell, absolute minter it was....would have had it in a heartbeat if it was for sale! my uncle in lincoln restores and shows these and has done for years...i personally think they are ugly lol

mattydski 560
Corrado would feature pretty highly on ma list.... I had some nice cars in the 90's just about every vauxhall sports varient that was going, Astra gte, gsi, sri, sxi, nova sri, cavalier sri, I think even ma vectra squeezed in on a 97 plate.. I used to love all the early hot hatches... and followed Vauhall rally team like a rash.. lol Had Alfa ROmeos too, Alfa sud 1.5 green cloverleaf, was cool, had to carry gaffer tape around to keep it together. Also had an Alfetta 2.0 l saloon....now that was a beast... I wanted a Alfa GTV, I still get a semi on when I see one.. And I'm gonna have to stop soon, before I make a mess on the carpet... but finally.... Audi coupe S2..........Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

gnasher16 30,118
wouldnt say no to one of these Is that a proper rs500 ?.....if my memory serves me correct the pucker ones had the Tickford wings, fog lights in the boot etc.... They were my dream car as a lad.....when i became a grown up a few years ago i tried to buy one,an old boy was selling it after his son had died the year before it was the second to last one ever made....number 499 off the production line......there was only 52 moonstone blue ones ever built...... I made the big mistake of letting the ol boy know how desperate i was to buy the car !!.....made him what anyone would consider a very good offer.....but he took the piss as he knew how much i wanted it and i regretfully ended up walking away.....i later heard the car ended up in Malta but i still keep an eye out for the right one.....more as an investment than to actually drive....this was the car. http://s166.photobuc...=RS500NO499.jpg Edited November 6, 2011 by gnasher16

hairyface 211
nice car that gnash, liked the moonstone blue, but if i had a choice i'd go for the black baby in the background the intergrale
artic 595
Owned a Alfa 33 on a K plate in black. Fast, and handed each bend smoothly, infact it ate bends like no tomorrow. Early models were rust buckets, and poor electrics! My brother has one today a lovely example of a restored classic Alfasud Sprint. Italians have always had sexy vehicles! They still do
