training ferrets

Recommended Posts

if you get a chance to see the young ferrets in a big pen and try and pick out the fastest most inquisitive and boldest youngster. I find this is usually a good indicator that the ferret has potential and is inquisitive.

and when first entering try and pick a bury with only a few holes and doesnt look too deep, in too big a bury the youngster will tend to stay on the surface if he doesnt find straight away. but as others have said the more work they get the better they will be

ferrets if you feed them on rabbs they tend to learn quicker what is there job , as they smell and eat what they chase get it out with the mother or older worker they soon learn , but not all ferrets make the grade or some take till there second season , to come good ,a decent feret will learn pretty quickly , try and get earths with game in sohe can have a scrap and get involved its not hard as the ferret if bred [bANNED TEXT] has the instinct to kill
