ferret care questions?

hello i want to get ferrets but im not to sure if i will be able to but i want to no what i need to care for them i want too keep 2 of them could yous help me out with my question plz im only 14 btw

 

what size of hutch is needed to keep two ?

 

if im getting two should i get the same sex or opposite?

 

how often do i feed them ? and what food ? and when feeding rabbits do u just leave everything on n in it ? and the same with pigeons and things

 

how long do i need to let them out a day i ihave a niice sized garden they can run about in with me there obv?

 

what age do they need to be to start hunting ?

I have two jills ( female )

Two tier hutch but put a run on now I will bump the thread back too top so you can have a look it called bit of spare time

As long as you can have them out I try too have mine out for at least an hour and you can work them at the age of 6 month

Your best getting a book first tho mate because

they are a big commitment

 

But I am no expert

Try Google or some of the posts on here mate you need to find out about what your going to do when they come into season each spring ,that might help in what sex of ferrets you pick?.

Hello mate,

I'm very new into ferrets but the best bit of advice I was given was go out with someone a few times and see if you like it,havea look at the set up they've got and see how much time goes into them.
