If you glue/staple it before you clean it you'd be keeping all the dirt and possible infection inside

I'd clean it with saline and use cut and heal or purple spray depending on how bad it is. A cut foot needs resting - glue or no glue, don't run it until it's properly knit. Lead walks only for about 10 days if it's deep.

A little trich that was shown to me recently. If it is a deep cut fill a syringe up with hibiscrub then squirt the hibiscrub into the cut. Give it a bit of pressure. This will flush out any debris and clean the cut out nicely. Is the cut on the pad or on top or between the toes?

if its a cut pad then forget stappling it its a waste of time, as said hibiscrub or salt water, most cuts if kept clean will heal in time.

time he means for ever it must nit useing staples work if done right but good luck loads of skin hardeners and cut and heal to heal the scare anything for bed sores is good

I wouldn't staple a cut pad, unless the dog is totally immobilised there will be pressure on the wound, and the staples around it, you will end up causing an even bigger wound. As has been suggested, clean with salt water and allow to heal naturally, if you can put a picture on of how deep it is, it may help. Pads tend to heal extremely well, regardless of depth if left alone and kept clean.
