furgle 14 Posted November 3, 2011 Report Share Posted November 3, 2011 Hi everyone and i know this may get me no where but ive been hunting since i was about 8 or 9 ferreting,shooting (mainly airrifles but get the chance to shoot a few pigeon now and then) and dogs well when we was allowed to have a good course any ways! . My dad had quite a good bit of permission for hares and rabbit but when the ban came into affect no longer did my dad see interest in the sport so all my permission was dead any ways back on point last year i started going out with one of my uncles and birds of prey mainley harris hawks but others now and then and i was mentored by him for nearly a year now I own my own harris hawk and im trying so hard to get some local permission for rabbit or the occasional phessie thanks guys any help will me much appreciated even tag alongs i would be happy with thanks again Ross Quote Link to post

I got a few little bits local to me but this year they have been hit hard with mixy and just not producing the bunnies so i thought ide try and get a bit of permission a bit further afield Quote Link to post

grovsey 74 Posted November 4, 2011 Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 as i said .knock on the farms,people should get about 5,000 acres if they want to fly a bird proper as the amount of people these days that gt a bird with a tiny bit of land and think its enough ,u can empty a small piece of land so quick and then have no where to hunt it ,if people want slips where the rabbit are out this is more so as one slip on a small patch and all the bunnys will go to ground ect , people need to put in the leg work and even do something for the farm as why should he give someone he dont know permision to his land,if you can find some land that is premier its even worth paying me a few hundred to mr farmer or get a few lads together and all put the money in and buy some game for ur land Quote Link to post
