ye i understand mate caut thousands of rabbs ,but being honest i look at things diffrent ,its great giving the dogs a blow out on the rabbs ,but its nothing new to guys who walked the walk for years ,its not the final of the forley cup or cachting five ut of five on big land or when it was all legal cacthing several roe and getting paid legaly by the game dealer , its arabb first one i caut at elevn year old ,with ferret and net ,when you have sen great dogs etc on good game had dogs of champions as they say a nite out on the rabbs is a good bit of fun ,there dogs outt here caching allsorts in style ,most good half collie crosses can cacth them for fun

come on whin ..credit where credit is due ...most dogs fit will put a good few bunnies in the bag..but when your talking 40 to 50 slips ...thats is a hell test for a dog on any ground ive run up the dales for years ..and had some decent bags..so i know what iam talking about i have also run large sheep fields where the grass in only mm,s deep and rabbits legs are a blur when they are in full flight...like i say anybody giving there dogs 40 plus slips i.e runs in a night are testing there dogs in my opinion...

belive it or not whin,, i been at it years as well im 44, been going up them dales 25 years, ever since hosker wrote about them in the countrymaids,, me and my mate bamba was up there plundering big bags .

 

been in to all the other stuff as well whin,,,, just cant wright about it or put pics up,, grassed 5 one night,, and done a good few 3's daytime.

right,, testing, whin, last nite the dog kicked the nite off in 16.5 temp, wind i cud fert more feilds winter wheat border line for running,20 mil of growth to them, a bit like the dersert, grass feilds not green but yellow,, razor short,, eltric fence on 1 feild, gave the pup hell of a slap,, hedge rows bottom less ,,, and for enermy ,,, did you have your parents go and see the head master a school, because off crepping out the house in the middle of the nite,,, when they notifed by the police,,, enermy in feilds you not add a taste of what ive add got these before i was 18 ,,,fack nows our many since,,,,your out of your depth with me ,,beleave me///////////,,

Had one or two similar myself over the years Jim ..dogs confiscated,motors,tagged from the minute it gets dark until it breaks light,phenomenal sized fines,banned from keeping hunting type dogs,unable to go more than a mile from my house,banned out of counties...name it and i've probably had it? Is it all fecking worth it? ATB Andy.

this mite come across strange to some or it will not,,, iff my kids did not av what the other kids add down the street to play with ETC i wud get it them some our or some way,,, my dogs get the same, i do not have loads of ground, and i will do, what it takes,,,, i take the knocks and the bangs,, thats life, iff it lands me in shit a number of times'' in my life i deal with it,,but i will of full ,filled me sport,, it still works out cheaper than smoking,,
