Box for the car,van transport

Hi , just wondering if anyone uses another box for during transport , as I was thinking of having a larger box than a carry box just for in the van to put the ferrets in while I'm on route , was thinking something a with a bit more space and some mesh instead of just drilled holes , just so the ferrets arnt locked in the little carry box for quite so long

 

If any one does use some thing like that some picks would be good

I use one of those cat boxes you can buy from a pet shop for the ferrets. I cost less than £20 and carries 4 ferrets.

i tried the cat box thing aswell, till my jill done its business on the mess side and wet my car seat.i was thinking of making something with a full mess top on it for transport tho

Ive got a adapted pigeon crate for when i take all the ferrets out and just put them in there carrying boxes when i get to the permission . I just like to give them a bit more air than cooped up in a carrying box loaded in the car with the rest of the gear might allow

We do exactly this. Got a box about 2' x 2' square for the boot just so they got a bit of space in transit. And then into the bow back boxes when we get there.

Just let them loose in the car, it makes a long run far more interesting for you and them
