I remember being out with a big mounted pack,in the midst of them was a scraggy farmer on a horse that had seen better days.A fox bolted from cover and the farmer yells "THERE HE'S THERE LAA,KILL THE FU**ER",a little while later he was taken to one side and politely that was not the way of bringing the hunts attention to the fact that a fox had left cover,we had some laugh over it for weeks later.:clapper:

Ossie I know the feeling.

Does anyone know why we make this noises, I was on my own last night and I made an effort to say nowth and she still went like the clappers after the bunny? So the sound had no effect on her at all.

:D now ratting noises are different all together, there is the grown men shrieking, and in between shreiks you can here, woo woo woo but in a high pitched sound there is also ay ay ay ay , and a lot of hissing, i dread to think what we sound like all together, :D

YYYYESSSS! i knew i wasn't fecking wierd,my brother has been taking the piss out of me since we were kid's about me doing this. When we would net up with the old man,i would be breathing like a old steam train,as soon as the ferret's went down i'd hold me breath untill i was about to pass out.Depending on which dog and which quarry it's, "ave him" "ready gal ready" "in in in".:clapper:
