steveS.Yorks 161
Makes me cringe to think the general public will lump me in with the morons who do these kind of things. Another point is the vid Ideation posted with the squirrels, some well known members saying they enjoyed it...ect,its illegal to release a wild animal for dogs to course/kill,just as illegal as killing the cats bet the antis are having a field day with this thread. Lab 10,979
what about all the damage these cats do? nothing gets said when they attack chickens etc in your own garden Well theres a choice there........if its causing you harm then chap it on the head and shut the f**k up........dont be bagging it and taking it to a field somewhere and setting the dogs on it ffs and letting every tom dick and harry see you do it. I'll just add for certain members that this might be happening, its not gospel!!!....

As I have stated I aint no cat courser and dont agree with it But there is a fine line between old grand ma bess 6 year old gran daughter cats sitting on the window sil or garden and Pest / vermin killing your birds. I dont own birds but Know people who do and the cats spook all the birds in avairy and lofts and kill if they get in. When the birds get spooked they wont sit on eggs or feed young birds. Next you will be wanting to kill all the peregrines because they take a doo or two. As i have said, prevention is the best method imo.

Moll. 1,770
I dont own birds but Know people who do and the cats spook all the birds in avairy and lofts and kill if they get in. When the birds get spooked they wont sit on eggs or feed young birds. I have an aviary, canaries etc, plus loads of teeny chickens, quail. I also have a cat which moved in a couple of years ago. The cat sitting on top of the cages has never once stopped the birds from doing anything they would normally do, infact the canaries bred like mice
