planete 120
Hello to all, I guess I have just had a late middle age crisis (not telling you how old I really am!) and bought a four months old lurcher three weeks ago. My experience of lurcher pups is nil so I started doing some reading up, loved this forum and have just joined. My new boy is a greyhound/saluki cross whippet, very bright, very active and straight out of the breeder's kennel. You can imagine what the last three weeks have been like but there is progress. He is now housetrained, sits and lies down on command, walks on the lead and has some recall. But the garden has become a mix of quickly bodged fencing around the vegetables and excavation/running track. The house is ok so far though and my other half is still speaking to me! I am not fooling myself and know things will probably get worse before they get better so some advice will be very welcome when I run into trouble. Thanks in advance!
