paulus 26
saw 10 in 3 hrs one night the other week called 4 but only 2 came in, earlier in the season nothing was coming to the call at all, just sitting in hedge bottoms watching. so round here things are still looking good, plenty about but a tad shy. dont think its down to shooters but possibly the strange weather/light conditions that we seem to be getting this winter. moonlighter 1,164
If you've got a fox problem then I think you need to Rifle them. I love lamping them with my lurchers but it's for sport more than anything. When they need controlling shooting them gets the job done quickly. 1 Quote Link to post
mick c 411
see more in the towns and citys nowadays and i blame fast food chains like kfc and mcdonalds .if we had more tramps about the food source would die out in the cities 1 Quote Link to post
Guest born to run1083
Ive saw a few this season there are alot that are abit on the shy side just one of them things mate Seen a shed load but the same shy but only in certain areas to be honest same as any other quarry but saw 5 last night and not one would come in. That's because where you are seeing them mate you cannot shoot them, but there are plenty of folk out trying to lamp them with dogs and not catching them. Hence quite good numbers but shy foxes. I heared there is even a bloke trying to lamp with a spaniel Aye everyone is lamping local to me at the moment doing my nut in. I heard people have started having there tyres let down tho so should stop soon enough, had the same prob in England tho j, me and bird went in one field saw 4 not one would come, went to another spot two fields in saw 2 same thing. Went to another location miles away from that one saw 3 not one would come in, pain in the arse but then you can go to other areas and there sprinting in. Think to many sumner hunters with crap dogs is doing it to be honest Quote Link to post

littletimmy 71
Couldn't help it DFK, I'm not a daywalker, i get bored easy when theres no eyes beaming back at me, plus young rikardo is a good looking lad, and there was plenty of bushes up that hill We have tried the green filter, to some extend they were less shy, but still reluctant to come in. Normally had about 30 by now, not even reached 10! Remarkably shite start. Edited November 1, 2011 by littletimmy Quote Link to post
