NOT AS IF THE NIGHT WAS GOOD, IT WAS FAR FROM GOOD, NO WIND THE WARMTH WAS UNBELIEVABLE 15.5 AT 5.15 THIS MORN, AND THATS WELL IN THE DALES. FIRST PORT OF CALL MANAGED TO GET A DOZEN . THEN WE UP STICKS BY THIS TIME ITS HALF 12 AND WENT ANOTHER 40 MILE NORTH NOT A PLAN I WOULD NORMALLY DO BUT THERE WAS NOTE IN THE FIRST AREA TO DROP BACK ON TO. SNIPE RAN WELL HIS FIRE FLYING UP THE BEAM IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE BUT ONCE ON THEM LIKE AN 18 MONTH OLD DOG THE TURNING ABILITY IS UNBELIEVABLE FOR HIS AGE HE GOT 19 RABBITS ... GAFFA WE RAN A LITTLE MORE TO MAKE THE BAG UP AS HE GOES TO THE END OF THE BEAM LIKE A ROCKET AND ACCUMILATING 25 RABBITS ON THE NIGHT MAKING A TOTAL OF 44/// WE COULD ONLY CATCH WHAT WAS THERE. BUT ALL IN ALL A NIGHT TO REMEMBER FOR ME MORE SO WATCHING SNIPE STILL DO THIS SCRATCHING 11 YEARS OLD .... 1 Quote Link to post
