drummer-ben 0
Went out yesterday and I bought a hutch and 3 ferrets. I put them in the hutch at about 4.45 locked it etc... Then went off to make a drink, at 5 I went to let the dogs outside but just before I opened the door something caught my eye on the grass yes you guessed it 3 albino ferrets walking around, I gathered them up and put them back in the hutch then waited to see how they were getting out. After about 30 seconds a head popped out at the top of the hutch I couldn't believe how small the gap was they were getting out of was. Looks like I'm spending a few hours today trying to sort that out. Have any of you guys had the same thing happen to you? Thanks for reading :-) Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
I put mine in a "temporary run" the other day, basically just boarded off half of the garage, there was a gap what looked smaller than a £2 coin and my small albino got through, i was amazed, i actually took a photo to show my missus but the gap was so small it couldnt be seen on my phone camera! lol. They also escaped out of the hutch one day, i must of left it unlocked and they pushed the door open, this was the top tier about 5' high, so quite a drop! Lesson learnt though, double check all bolts now before leaving them. Gaz Quote Link to post
