cant beat full wax leggings with a pair a braces, rewax every year there as tough as you get, ive had mine 5yrs and still a few years left in them, mite not be designer but cheep as chips, job done.

wax leggings are NOT waterproof when your sitting or kneeling on wet ground!!!!

i can recommend the carharrt double fronted trousers or dungarees. they are not waterproof but they are tough as f@ck, and water resistant, so good enough.

 

Treat them with canvas tent proofing ! had mine at least 10 yr.few snags,but still going strong ..

carhartt is top quallity , i have a jacket now for 10 years and still good ,,, only damm thing is that its difficult to get around here.

Theres a good used Carhartt stockman/chore type jacket on ebay today £45 in XL, god you can tell iam not working today.

I bought a pair of jack pyke waterproof beater trousers. pile of crap! They are not waterpeoof at all and they ripped right up the seem the first time I wore them . So don't waste 50 quid on them

i hate to say i went to tk max and bought myself a pair of cragg hoppers for £20, water proof wind proof and comfy also keep your legs warm
