6pack 60
Hung a recycled fleece lined dog coat as a hammock, then extra fleece bedding under it so they can choose where to sleep. All brought cheap at local charity shop. Just chop it up, leave the sleeves whole. Quote Link to post

ddurose 13
Slightly wandering off the thread a bit I know but this stuff is good for courts and runs. It's called cushion bed and made by a form called Giffords. I bought 2 big bales (20kg each) and it cost just over £7. Brilliant stuff. http://www.giffords.biz/bed/bed1.htm Quote Link to post
J.DOG 1,355
I get some cleaned straw and pack the bed full but I also stuff some fleeece in there aswell they love it they create there own tunnel in the bed room and wrap up in the fleece I've never had any problems Quote Link to post
shaunpauls7 131
i use hay as bedding and have no problems with it , but i was given a black bag full of straw and when cleaning them out to day my ferrets were covered in ticks not just one or two but bloodly loads of them . i can only think they have come from the straw and i believe it had been sitting around for a while . i have three cages of ferrets and the only ones that didnt have ticks are the one that i did not use the straw in Had the same problem a couple of years back stay away from it now not worth the hassle. atb shaun Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
I use 50% wood shavings and 50% of what ever drops through the letter box every morning mixed, for cage and nestboxes, and on the odd weeks where no junk mail hits the hallway rug, then just wood shavings 1 Quote Link to post
