Wheat intolerance.

Recommended Posts

Some of you might know ive got a saluki pedigree coming up to the 6 month mark and it seems after trying several different types of food she gets the shits and the vet said its most likely just an intolerance to wheat. I was wondering if there was any reccomendations for a food for a dog with this problem. Ive seen a few of the alpha feeds has wheat free . Thanks alot atb Ross

Try Wainwright's Salmon and potato from Pets at Home, it's £32 for a 15kg bag which is pricey (20% VAT as it's not a 'working dog' food) but pretty good compared to similar quality products.

They also do a non branded white fish and potato and IIRC that's £12 for 10kgs so a bit better on price...It stinks though!

No mate i was waiting for something along them lines to come from them sooner or later, one just suggested chappie, ''as trusted by vets' but yet on the tin it says it has wheat in so its kind of senseless imo atb

I've got a wheat intolerant saluki cross. Raw is the best food but if you want to feed dry aurtarky is good food. About £16 a bag and is wheat glutten free.
