DogMagic 461
These things happen mate. Cats are stupid creatures and they do like to sit under cars. Normally they scoot when the engines started but if theres dogs getting in the car they could (in this time did) scoot early. And dogs being dogs will chase a scooting cat and if the cat aint quick enough its chireo kitty. It all happened to fast for you to be able to react in time to stop it and the dogs were on a lead. The police might turn up and ask you about what happened. Tell them what i just said and they will send you a letter in a couple of months time saying "no further action" bla bla. 2 Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
I wont boil down to your dog killing the cat, whether you get prosecuted or not will hinge on whether the police think your dog was under proper control by you, this is what the police told me when my GSD knawed my next doors cat, I got off because the cat was deemed stupid enough to have a go at my dog, and my dog was on a lead Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Stag runner I thought your dog WAS on a lead at the time of killing the cat? The dog snatched the fleeing cat whilst on lead and under full control? Quote Link to post
