Guest joball
took my little fellla out for his first time lamping, he's 6 now. well we started about half 8 with a little drive ahead of urs, 15 mins to get to my little spot. got to the first field and there was a nice little squater sat out in the open told him to crawl under the gate. slipped the dog and of he went rabbit getting up at full speed dog in toe turning him up and down the hedge in and out the cover, the little fella at my side cheering on the dog lol bang he nails it, then a little voice next to me shouting awsome lol. next field slipped the pup couple of turns and its through the hedge but the pup pulls him back through happy days little fella all made up. i decided to check one last spot, quick scan and see a set of bright eyes, so of over the style we go little fella in toe gun at the ready but mister charlie has other ideas and of we go back to the van and around to the otherside and there he is sitting at a gate looking at urs thinking better luck next time lol but we wernt finished yet . we drove around to the field he was in and there mr foxy was bolting it towards urs, so i took my shot bang charlies lights out, sent the two dogs over to retrieve him as my legs where tired lol. we where back buy 9.30, ready for bedtime lol i've done alot this week but this night tops it of one proud dad. fao to any anti c**ts all was done within the law on permision from land owner, fox shot and retieved. NEWKID 27,280
Nice one mate nothing better than getting the kids out ad by thelooks of it your lad loved it. Left work early yesterday to look after my 2 little ones ( my girls 3 my lads 6) for the aftenoon, told them we were taking the dogs out we grabbed a couple of ferrets and a few nets and had an hour and a half mooch on some permission. The kids loved it we had 3 rabbits one little dig and the others out of a bury under an old oak my lad had set 1 of the nets we caught in he was made up. The terrier also put a few out of the rough so we had a couple of good chases too, found a dozen mushrooms on the walk back to top it off. A great quck sesh It's quality not quantity when your out with your kids. All the best kev Quote Link to post
