paulus 26
got to agree mate i couldnt tell you the weight of any of my dogs but i can tell if there loosing or gaining weight, if you know the look of your dog then your eyes will tell you if theres a problem if you know what i mean, as for numbers well dont mean alot anymore its just for the joy of it for me, if i wanted numbers i could drive the land with the rimfire and clear 100`s a night, but whot would be the point 2 days of boasting and a season with feck all left to run. J Darcy 5,871
Funny how sometimes Whin's posts are easily read and yet other times they need an enigma machine. Some people might think that there was two different people on the same log in...... I hope not.... Quote Link to post
toby1066 413
its simple really if you count how many rabbits your dog misses then add that to the amount of rabbits in the bag at the end of the night you can work out how well your dogs doing by its run to kill ratio. maybe your numerically challenged as well as dyslexic whin thats why its a problem for you 1 Quote Link to post

Nothing wrong with keeping records...I know everything all my dogs have caught down the years... Must admit I never kept tabs on the number of runs they had in a night...with my memory I would have forgot by the time I got back to the car... It makes interesting reading after a few years and helps jog the memory when your remembering great nights out. And well done the pup keep at it young fellah Quote Link to post
