grand if the pups brain is ready but no dog at 8 month is ready to be taking half that many, my pups are praised if they run one thats put up but would never aim for it, they need to finish growing first then by all means see how far you can push them.

My target number was ALWAYS 100 rabbits before 12 month with my lurchers, and most of what I had did this and more, and, most of them ran till they were 12+..great going matie, a credit to you and finger up to the one for the pot men....

Well done with the pup but for me personally I would only have my pup out ferretting at eight months old and then gradually introduce him to lamping with an older dog ! Each to his own and if it works for you then fair play to you !

tbh whin i will only keep note of what hes caught upto 12 months of age .ive had loads of stick for taking pups out so young so i am just showing folk on here how successful the way i train my pups can be.
