trigger2 3,145
i went out up the dales with Tomo thursday night and had a enjoyable nights lamping my pup had a few rabbits and pushed his overall tally upto what i thought was 98 rabbits, but when i got home and looked in my book i noticed the outing with Tomo had made his tally upto 99. anyway i decided to go out tonite and see if i could catch the 1 rabbit required to make the 100 mark for my pup who is only 8months and 3 days old. i left the house and the fog had set in but i could just about manage to see far enough to lamp a rabbit in the odd place so i decided to have a look about. i was lucky enough to get a few runs in and managed to bag 7 which was a suprise as in the back of my mind i thought i would be lucky to get 1, the 7 tonite have made his tally upto 106 at just 8 months old which i am well chuffed with. 2 Quote Link to post

bird 9,926
I wonder how many it will have before it quits? i would have thought the same my self mate at 1st, but ive been out and seen this pup work. And it (dont) really struggle catching rabbits, sometimes you forget its 8 months old, and think it was 16 month old pup. It comes natural to it like my dog Bryn, he dont struggle catching rabbits he had 100 when he was 13 months old. Its one of those things Bryn great rabbit dog, but thats about it, but he was only really bred for rabbits. Triggers jon pup will make a better alrounder when older, a really well bred dog Quote Link to post
