deertrackers 0
Last Sunday (23rd October) we lost our Bavarian Mountain Hound bitch 'Mintaka' from Stanley Downton, Stonehouse, Glos. She was last seen running around my Land Rover, we were only 5 mins behind her but she had vanished with no sightings since. Please have a look at this link and forward on http://www.doglost.co.uk/poster.php?dogId=33737 Any information treated in the strictest confidence please call me on 07813834355

deertrackers 0
MINTAKA- THE SEARCH GOES ON I would just like to thank everybody for their condolences regarding Mintaka. On Friday we were informed by the group Doglost who beforehand had been informed by Networkrail that a dog fitting the description of Mintaka including a tattoo on the inside of one of rear legs had been identified. They also asked if we wanted the body returned to us, to which we said yes. ...Through Doglost; Networkrail PROMISED to have the dog back with us on Saturday by meeting the lady from Doglost, who would then in turn pass on the hound to us. Around midday on Saturday the lady from Doglost called to inform us that Networkrail had actually now disposed of the dog and they are sorry but it was a mistake to have told us that the dog was identified by the tattoo as this was not the case, no record of a tattoo or microchip being looked for. On Sunday it was confirmed that the hound was definitely not Mintaka, so the search for Mintaka goes on and thank you Networkail for your incompetence.
