there aint no simple answer to that mate depends on the land your using it on the quarry your after,length of time your out etc.... as for quality there all lacking in that department and most will need a tweek or two. but heres my thoughts for whot its worth 240 blitz type are good on large fields but work equally aswell in small ones, they can be abit of a pain to carry around due to the size of them and are a nightmare when climbing over obsticles. 170 type are a good all round lamp for most situations but struggle in very large fields and the 140 style is limited to close work and small padocks. all of the 3 lamps are better when combined with a dimmer switch. the cheaper copies of these lamps work equally aswell as the light force ones .

Iv used a clusion for ages now and its been good. Its perfect for rabbit work and most work on other stuff too although i find it lacks range when something pops up and runs well. Im planning to get a 170 striker soon for that reason and give it a fair try because my mates told me theyve got better range. Iv been out with him using his one too and it does seem better.
